Hello, my name is Dawn
I’m going to take the liberty of using this first blog to talk only about myself. Being this is the first time you’ll have heard from me, I think it might be nice to know from whom you are hearing. Walking through a new door into a room with no light is uncomfortable, for most. The light will always be on in here!
I am a woman in my mid-life and still haven’t figured out this life thing. But, I am coming real close! I am confident my experiences are bringing a lot of things to light and I want to share them with you in hopes that it will help you figure out your own life. I have also met many people who have shared their experiences with me and I have grown even more. Lastly, my journey in personal development has impacted my perspective significantly.
You might wonder what experiences I have had that would qualify me to give someone else advice. I saw how this might look, like I am quite full of myself, but in reality, it is humbling to acknowledge all of my mistakes and mishaps that have gone on to shape the life I live and for which I strive.
I have been a student, a teacher, a wife, a mother, a single-mom, a “significant other”, a daughter, an employee, a manager, a musician, a reader, an author (unpublished – just aspiring), a friend, an enemy, a divorcee, a sister, an aunt, a niece, a granddaughter, a neighbor, a Christian, a healer, a nutritionist, a coach, a performer, a RN, and the list could go on. The point is, I have had the opportunity to see things from many different highs and lows and have learned from each one. The best of it all, I have met others who have shown me that I didn’t even see it all.
So, let’s have a fun time! You will get to know me more as I add more blogs to the page. Please, comment and share your perspective and thoughts as you might add even more to the story. I am here for all who need encouragement. I love supporting others in reaching their goals and can be a good cheer leader.
Until next time, take a moment to introduce yourself to me. I look forward to learning a bit more about you.
